The Natick Affordable Housing Trust Fund reported progress on its Housing for All program at the May 12 meeting, with member Sue Crossley saying the program has assisted seven households with a total of $14,000 in aid since its launch.
Crossley said the primary reasons for requests have been employment loss and housing instability and that the Trust will compile a data-and-feedback report once the program reaches $25,000 in total disbursements. The Trust's outreach subcommittee plans hybrid informational sessions on June 5 and June 9 at Town Hall to introduce the program to Town employees and administrative staff.
Representatives from three partner agencies—MetroWest Family Promise, Natick Service Council, and the Council on Aging—are expected to participate in a question-and-answer panel at the sessions to explain available resources. The subcommittee has also prepared informational materials for faculty in the Natick Public Schools district and will publish resources on the Trust's website as part of ongoing outreach.
Patrick Duggan said he is leading efforts to streamline the Trust website and will update the Board member section to reflect current membership and improve public visibility for the program. Crossley said she will provide the planned data-and-feedback report when disbursements reach the $25,000 threshold.
The Trust approved its April 14 meeting minutes and adjourned at 8:12 p.m.
