Committee member Jim Wellborn reported that he met with Bailey and took measurements of the space intended for Hello Jude Photography. Wellborn said the board is seeking bids to add a mini heating-and-air unit to the space; the estimate discussed during the meeting was between $3,000 and $5,000. Lease negotiations were described as ongoing and involve Piedmont College and City Attorney Thomas Mitchell.
Board members also confirmed event vendors for an upcoming downtown activity: Kona Ice and Way-2-Bake, each assessed a $15 vendor fee. The board reviewed estimated event expenses, including portable restrooms priced at $195, a bounce house estimated at approximately $370, and balloons at about $200.
