EDC tables several items, questions Detotec rent; Westmark dock repairs complete

Financials: Chair Steve Hebner opened discussion on revenues and expenses and questioned the posting of Detotec rent. Staff member S. Tetreault will contact the Treasurer to verify the Detotec posting. Scott Blinkhorn moved, and Marisa Rokstad seconded, to table further discussion of the financials; the motion passed, recorded as “all in favor.”
Business directory: Commissioners discussed poor response rates to the Business Directory questionnaire. The commission approved mailing a second notice instructing businesses to return the questionnaire if they do not want to be included; otherwise the commission will publish businesses using publicly available information. Marisa Rokstad moved to table the brochure/business-directory discussion until the next meeting; Neil Delmonico seconded and the motion passed.
Westmark loading dock: The commission was told Hunter Wood from the Department of Public Works completed the necessary repairs; the project is complete.
Revere site: Staff reported contacting Tiziana Shea, Supervising Environmental Analyst, Remediation Division, who said the Revere property is not listed in current Remediation Division programs but appears as a Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) case; staff will follow up with DEEP. Scott Blinkhorn moved to table further discussion on the Revere site; Neil Delmonico seconded and the motion passed.
Adjournment: Scott Blinkhorn moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:27 p.m.; Neil Delmonico seconded and the motion passed.
