Sterling EDC to post RFP for asphalt curbing replacement in Industrial Park

At the May 12 meeting the Sterling Economic Development Commission reviewed a draft RFP for asphalt curbing replacement in the Industrial Park.
Staff member S. Tetreault told commissioners the RFP is intended to solicit bids from qualified paving contractors to remove and replace damaged asphalt curbing. The procurement will include a mandatory pre-bid walk-through; the RFP is scheduled to be posted on the State website the week following the meeting, and a notice will be sent to Industrial Park businesses with project details.
No motion to award or alter the specifications was recorded; the minutes show the draft RFP and the planned outreach steps. Staff will administer the pre-bid process and post the RFP on the state procurement site.
