Members also reviewed draft campground conditional-use language. The draft adds a requirement that a campground bathhouse be able to serve as a severe-weather storm shelter and requires a severe-weather plan. The draft also replaces the generic term "employee" with the role label "onsite manager." The minutes record that the commission completed a review and scheduled final consideration at the April meeting.
The commission did not take a final vote on the text changes at the March meeting; members directed that both draft additions be returned for final review in April. The commission's continuing review means the specific permit standards and enforcement mechanisms remain subject to change before any adoption.
