Mayor reports on summer events, park improvements and completed demolitions

Earlier in the meeting CRT Director Danielle Fontenette had presented details about a National Day of Acadie celebration planned for Aug. 15 on New Market Street, including family activities, a tintamarre and a closing performance by Chad Huval and Friends; she said the event is being held in conjunction with the Fete Dieu Du Teche promoted by Fr Champagne of Jesus Crucified.
