Council members and staff discussed a planned high-resolution digital sign for the village square pursued jointly with the Walhonding Valley Fire District. Robinette provided a preliminary final cost estimate of about $39,000 and said the village and the fire district will consider splitting the cost; a decision on cost‑sharing was expected in the coming months. The next Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) citizen meeting on revitalization grant matters will be held in April at the Walhonding Museum, with the date to be posted on the village website and Facebook page.
No formal ordinance or resolution was introduced on these items during the meeting; council directed staff to continue coordinating with partners and to post meeting dates for public engagement.
