Warsaw council awards park mowing to Fry's, square and nuisance work to Seven C's Lawn Care

The Warsaw Village Council reviewed competing bids for park, square and nuisance mowing at its March 19 meeting and voted to award the park and pool contract to Fry's Property Solutions LTD and the village square and nuisance properties to Seven C's Lawn Care.
Bids reviewed included offers from Seven C's Lawn Care (represented by Bo Booth), McCoy Property Management LLC, Blue Line Landscaping, Evergreen Mowing and Landscaping and Fry's Property Solutions. Quoted prices varied by vendor and by site; for example, bids listed in the minutes include park figures from about $300 to $540 and square work from about $50 to $250, with nuisance work quoted either at flat fees or hourly rates. The council heard directly from Bo Booth and discussed crew availability and start dates.
Council moved (Renee Hardesty) and seconded (Jesse Fischer) the award motion; roll-call votes recorded all present council members voting yes. The minutes record the motion as carried.
Also under new business the council acknowledged receipt of a donated 1999 Case 580L backhoe from the City of Coshocton that the village intends to use for parts, and announced a community Cleanup Day on April 26, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Adam Fischer has donated a dumpster to be set up at Riverview Community Park. Council indicated ongoing discussion over a new park building (size, type and location) as part of CDBG Revitalization Grant preparations.
The council recorded that Fry's Property Solutions may not be able to start mowing until after school and noted nuisance-contract details such as hourly rates where provided. The decisions finalize mowing vendors for the season and set the village up to continue work on park improvements.
