The Town of East Hampton Firehouse Site & Development Committee reviewed five responses to a request for qualifications for the firehouse site on Feb. 19, 2026, and agreed to invite the top three firms for interviews at the committee's March meeting.
Chairman Rich Knotek called the special meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. and recorded that he and six committee members were present. Town Manager David Cox attended; Committee member Tim Feegel was listed as absent.
Committee members reviewed each RFQ submission individually and assigned scores; those scores will be entered into an Excel spreadsheet for tabulation, the committee said. After tabulation, committee members agreed the three highest-ranked firms will be scheduled for interviews at the March meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:58 p.m. following a motion by Committee member Rob Rainville and a second from Chairman Rich Knotek. The motion to adjourn passed 7-0.
The committee did not take a final selection at this meeting; the next formal step is interviews with the top three firms at the March meeting.
