The Select Board polled members and approved nominees to the Town Manager Search Committee. Those selected included Suzanne Averill, Bill Burnett, Jean Healy Dippold, Tim Davis, Paul Grady, Leland Jenkins and Sarah Shannon; additional letters of interest were received from other applicants and retained in the meeting packet.
Select Member Paul Grady moved to approve the Town Manager Search advertisement with three changes: set the salary range to $225,000, change the experience requirement to five years, and add the role descriptor "Chief Procurement Officer." The board approved the motion by a recorded unanimous vote.
Chair Ellen Maher then moved the board into executive session under G.L. c. 30A, §21(a)(7) to review past executive session minutes and declared that the board would adjourn from executive session and not return to open session. A roll call vote was recorded as all aye. The meeting adjourned at 9:21 p.m.
No additional formal votes on hiring were taken at the open meeting; the action was limited to approving the advertisement and confirming search committee membership.
