Perusse said the Town Clerk will work with town counsel to provide the board with further information on the process and that the board may need an additional vote to formally add the position to the ballot. No formal vote on election placement was taken at the Jan. 21 meeting; the announcement served as receipt of Sargent's resignation and initial board direction to coordinate with counsel.
