The Town of Babylon board granted a parking-waiver request from Christina Hoffman after a brief presentation and confirmation of submitted documents.
Hoffman, who gave an address in Lynbrook/Lindenhurst area (as recorded), was sworn and the record shows a property inspection on 5/12/26 and supporting documents including a driver’s license, phone bill, PSEG account and bank statements. Hoffman said the accessory apartment in question is on the second floor with two bedrooms and is not currently occupied.
A board member moved to approve the application and, separately, a motion was made and seconded to approve the parking waiver; both motions were approved by voice vote. Meeting staff cautioned that the parking waiver is not transferable if the house is sold and noted the applicant may need to increase on-site parking if an additional vehicle is acquired.
The transcript records no public opposition to the waiver request.
