Hillman adopts Ordinance 2024-05 applying industrial overlay to 14797 State Street

The Village of Hillman Council adopted Ordinance No. 2024-05 on Aug. 6, 2024, amending the Village Zoning Map to apply a conditional Industrial Overlay District to parcel 044-025-000-150-00 at 14797 State Street.
Trustee Tom Bouchey moved for adoption, Trustee Velma Brown supported the motion, and the Council voted unanimously to adopt and approve the ordinance. The ordinance text includes severability and a saving clause and specifies the change will take effect seven days after publication. The ordinance was certified by Clerk Brenda South, published Aug. 22, 2024, and will be effective Aug. 30, 2024, subject to PA 110 of 2006 as amended.
The Council said the Planning Commission had recommended the conditional rezoning through a finding of facts. No roll-call opposition or abstentions were recorded at the meeting.
