Webster County supervisors approve urban renewal amendment and multiple road funding transfers

The board convened at 10:00 A.M. with supervisors Campbell, Nick Carlson, Niki Conrad (chairwoman), Austin Hayek and Thode present. After a public hearing, the board approved RESOLUTION NO. 2024-64 adopting Amendment No. 13 to the regional urban renewal plan; the roll-call vote recorded Ayes: Campbell, Carlson, Conrad, Hayek and Thode and Nays: None.

Other items: the board accepted several resignations from the Public Health Board effective Dec. 31, 2024 (Dr. David Ilceski; Mark Campbell; Nick Carlson; Linda Opheim) and the minutes record approval of appointments effective Jan. 1, 2025 (Erika Hout, ARNP, as Medical Director; Austin Hayek as Board of Supervisor; Mitch Lewis and Nici George to the Public Health Board). The record also shows the board approved purchase of a 2016 Dodge Durango for $17,600 and authorized the chair to sign the 2024 Burne Justice Assistance Grant interlocal agreement with the City of Fort Dodge.
The board received a report from ICCC Agricultural Program Students on the County Farming Program.
