Hillsdale board approves superintendent contract addendum and several staff hires

The Hillsdale Community Schools Board of Education approved a contract addendum for Superintendent Ted Davis and authorized three personnel hires at its Nov. 18 regular meeting in the Gier Elementary gymnasium.

Rebecca Portteus moved to approve the contract addendum for Superintendent Ted Davis, and Eric Moore seconded the motion. The board voted 6–0 in favor. The board then approved three hires: Bret Welch as a behavior interventionist at Hillsdale High School; Isaac Wittenbach as a full‑time night custodian at the high school; and Teila Radabaugh as a full‑time educational assistant at Gier Elementary. Each hire was moved and supported by board members and passed by a 6–0 vote.
