Corning school board sets Nov. 18 public hearing on sale of 905 Benton Avenue

The board reviewed bids from MATURA, ACEDC, and Faith Community Church before approving a resolution to schedule the hearing. Director Trent Roberts moved to approve the resolution; Director Howard Anderson seconded. By roll call the vote was Yes: Anderson, Hodapp, Roberts, and Venteicher; No: none.
The hearing gives residents and interested parties an opportunity to comment before the board considers any final action on the sale. The board clerk will publish formal notice of the hearing and make bid documentation available per district procedures.
Next step: the board will hold the public hearing on Nov. 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the Southwest Valley High School Board Room; no final sale or transfer was approved at the Oct. 21 meeting.
