Sevierville approves software renewal, multiple vehicle purchases and donation to White Pine Fire Department

The Board approved a series of procurement and equipment actions during the April 6 meeting.
Brian Wagner requested approval for Adobe license renewals totaling $10,004.47; the Board approved the expenditure. Police Chief Joe Manning requested purchase of two 2026 Ford Explorer patrol vehicles from Two Rivers Ford under state contract SWC #202-88786 for $78,338.00; the Board approved the purchase. Manning also requested and the Board approved donation of a surplus 2015 Ford Explorer (cruiser #1517, VIN 1FM5K8AR6FGB12891) to the White Pine Fire Department.
Public Works Director Doug Tarwater requested approval to purchase a sign shop equipment package from Grimco, Inc. for $63,447.52 (primary equipment under Sourcewell contract #112124-HPC, remainder proprietary to operate the system); the Board approved the purchase. Tarwater also requested approval to purchase a 2026 Ford F350 utility truck from Ford of Murfreesboro for $68,883.00 under state contract SWC #209-88762; that purchase was approved. Bob Parker requested an expense with Anderson Poured Walls for concrete slab finishing totaling $23,762.00; the Board approved the expense.
