Sevierville board ratifies park foundation appointments, approves retail license extensions

Mayor Robbie Fox asked the board to ratify several appointments to the Parks & Recreation Foundation; Vice Mayor Mitch Rader moved and Alderman Wayne Helton seconded the motion to approve appointments of Brent Blalock, Lori Blalock, Christine Brown, Tina Davis, Keion Rad and Jaymie Woods to terms expiring March 1, 2027; motion carried.
The board also approved two separate requests to extend the allowable period to open retail package stores. On behalf of Tejas Patel, staff requested and the board approved a second 12‑month extension to the opening deadline for a zone 2 certificate of compliance, moving the deadline to Feb. 12, 2027. The board likewise approved a second 12‑month extension for the owners of East Ridge Liquor (zone 4) to Feb. 12, 2027.
Both extension motions were recorded as carried in the meeting minutes; no additional conditions were recorded.
