On April 20 the Sevierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen adopted ordinance O2026-002, "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 6.7.1 OF THE SEVIERVILLE ZONING ORDINANCE," following a motion by Alderman Devin Koester and a second by Alderman Wayne Helton. Those voting yes were Helton, Koester, McCroskey, Ohman and Rader; Mayor Fox declared the ordinance passed on third and final reading.
Mayor Fox had opened a public hearing on the ordinance earlier in the meeting; no members of the public spoke during that hearing. The ordinance text as presented was placed for passage and the board approved final adoption at the meeting.
