Sevierville board adopts budget amendment ordinance O2025-021 after public hearing

Mayor Robbie Fox opened a public hearing on the ordinance; there were no public comments, and the hearing was closed before the board placed the measure for passage on third and final reading. Alderman Devin Koester moved and Alderman Travis L. McCroskey seconded the motion to approve the ordinance.
The board voted with Aldermen Wayne Helton, Devin Koester, Travis L. McCroskey, Joey Ohman and Vice Mayor Mitch Rader recorded as voting yes; no board member voted no. Mayor Fox declared the ordinance passed on third and final reading.
The ordinance was presented as an amendment to both operating and capital budgets for the specified fiscal period; specific line-item changes were provided to the board in meeting materials and the city's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for FY2025, which was delivered earlier in the meeting by Frank McDaniel of the accounting firm Brown, Jake & McDaniel, PC.
The ordinance takes effect as provided by local law; the board did not record any amendments or additional conditions during the Feb. 2 vote. The meeting record shows the action followed the public hearing and required readings; no further board action on O2025-021 was scheduled at the meeting.
