The Sevierville Regional Planning Commission on Feb. 5 approved a site plan for a mixed-use restaurant and liquor store at 750 Dolly Parton Parkway, the site of the former Ford dealership, contingent on resolution of a small number of staff comments.
Corey Divel, development director, said the prior building had been removed and that the proposed new building complies with Arterial Commercial setbacks. Remaining staff comments were described as minor and focused on the stormwater quality unit maintenance annotation, a parking calculation annotation and a landscaping species substitution. Staff recommended approval once those items were addressed.
Commissioner Shane Patterson moved to approve the site plan subject to resolution of staff comments; Commissioner Daryl Roberts seconded. The motion passed unanimously. The approval allows the applicant to resolve the listed minor items with staff before permits are issued.
