Jacobs told the commission the developer worked with staff to address prior comments and that the current submittal incorporates those revisions.
Commissioners asked whether units would be rentals; Jacobs said the development is targeted to be fee‑simple single‑family with a 20% rental cap if units are rented. A motion to approve the preliminary plat, with the applicant’s revisions and staff comments addressed, carried on a voice vote with no opposition.
The approval advances the subdivision to subsequent platting steps; staff and the applicant will continue to refine construction drawings and conditions required before final platting.
