Susquehanna Township99s Planning Commission voted March 23 to recommend forwarding staff comments to Lower Paxton Township on a draft Official Map that supports that township99s recently adopted Active Transportation Plan.
Planner Mack Breech told commissioners that the draft Official Map is generally consistent with Susquehanna99s planning documents but that staff had several minor clarifications. He said staff envisioned the memorandum as a starting point for coordination between the two municipalities.
When Commissioner Gary Rothrock asked whether the Sportsman99s complex is covered by Lower Paxton99s plan, Breech replied he did not know of any plans for that property. After discussion, Brian LaTorre moved to forward the memo; Brian Moore seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
No specific revisions to the Official Map were adopted at this meeting; the commission99s action was to transmit staff comments to Lower Paxton for its consideration.
