The Susquehanna Township Authority on March 3 heard final pricing results for a general-obligation bond refinancing that received an AA outlook and is expected to yield roughly $1 million in savings.
Ryan Brockman of Raymond James and Christopher Gibbons of Concord Public Financial Advisors presented the figures during the Authority's regular meeting. Brockman said the refinancing "successfully achieved approximately $1 million in savings," a level the board had identified as its target when it authorized the refinance.
The savings lower the township's projected debt service costs, the presenters said. The Authority did not vote on additional steps tied to the refinancing at the meeting; the presentation was delivered as part of the Board's scheduled packet materials and financial review.
The briefing followed approval of routine items earlier in the meeting and an executive session; business resumed after the Authority returned to open session at 7:56 p.m.
