Salem Township Planning Commission elects officers, approves minutes with one abstention

Connie Mattei was elected chair of the Salem Township Planning Commission at the board's annual organizational meeting on Jan. 7, 2026. The nomination by Paul Holleran and second by John Wright passed unanimously. Paul Holleran was elected vice‑chair and Kelly Otto was elected secretary, each by unanimous vote.
The commission approved the minutes of its Dec. 3, 2025 meeting. Paul Holleran and Chair Mattei voted to approve; John Wright abstained. The commission logged the resignation of former member John Durco and thanked him for four years of service.
The board confirmed its next regular meeting for Feb. 4, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., to be held at the municipal building if an agenda is posted. The meeting record was prepared by Secretary Kelly Otto.
