The Stamford Board of Education told the SAU April 7 that its newly adopted resolution restricting involuntary principal reassignments makes a pending grievance about principal movements largely moot.
The Chair said the board's action on the leadership-stability resolution "makes action more or less moot on that" grievance and that the board's March 25 decision on a related matter still holds and will be communicated to the SAU. Dr. Hammond asked whether there was a second grievance under consideration; the Chair said there was not.
The board did not take additional remedies on the SAU grievance at the meeting and moved to adjourn after scheduling a personnel search committee breakout.
