Committee invites more information from Care Solace on care-coordination services
Summary

Kyle Sullivan (identified on the agenda as the Care Solace contact) described the company as a care-coordination provider that can connect residents to mental-health, chemical-dependency and housing services. Sullivan said he had spoken with the vendor and offered to arrange a formal committee presentation if members wanted more information.
Members asked staff to circulate the vendor’s materials, including a description of who the company serves and any fees. Several members cautioned that local managed-care organizations, school programs and existing peer-based services already provide coordination, and recommended collecting more information about gaps before committing county funds or launching a contract.
Action: Kyle Sullivan agreed to share vendor materials with committee members and, if the group requests, to arrange a presentation at a future meeting.
