Easton Conservation Commission schedules site walks, holds executive session and approves minutes

The Easton Conservation Commission convened on March 10, 2026, at Easton Town Hall Conference Room A. Chair Dori Wollen called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. The Commission recorded commissioners and alternates present, with Anthony Battaglia and Dave Logie noted as absent.

Chair Dori Wollen told commissioners that resident David Harding had requested a site walk; the Commission directed staff member Frances Daly to contact Mr. Harding by e-mail to arrange the visit. Commissioners also noted two properties that still require site walks: 290 Maple Road and 25 Valley Road. No dates were recorded in the minutes for those visits.

At 7:44 p.m., Commissioner Cathy Alfandre moved — and Commissioner Kevin Kilner seconded — to enter Executive Session to receive legal advice from the Commission’s counsel, Attorney Keith Ainsworth. The minutes state no notes or recordings were taken during executive session and that no decisions were made there. The Commission returned from executive session at approximately 9:45 p.m.; Chair Wollen reconvened the meeting at 9:46 p.m.

After reconvening, Commissioner Kevin Kilner moved to approve the minutes of the Feb. 24, 2026 meeting; Karin Nieysn seconded. The motion passed by unanimous voice vote.

Commissioner Cathy Alfandre then moved to adjourn; Washington Cabezas Jr. seconded. The motion passed by unanimous voice vote and Chair Dori Wollen adjourned the meeting at 9:57 p.m. Frances M. Daly submitted the minutes for filing (Book2026/Page783, CFN#M2026000937).

No votes on substantive land-use applications or policy changes were recorded in the minutes.
