The board approved the 2025'26 District Course Offerings and the Muskegon County Virtual Academy course offerings by motion (Item 25-115), moved by Kathy Six and seconded by Josh Mueller; the motion carried 6-0 with one absence (JB Meeuwenberg). Tim Burgess reported that the Student Affairs Committee had discussed the second reading of the June 2025 Thrun Law Firm policy updates; the board approved those updates (Item 25-116) on a motion by Burgess and second by Mueller, carried 6-0 with one absence.
Under the consent agenda (Item 25-115) the board approved a bill listing totaling $1,196,649.95, accepted July 2025 General Fund and Investments reports, approved the personnel report (including confirmations of hires, resignations, retirees and transfers), and approved the regular meeting minutes from July 21, 2025. The consent agenda motion was made by Kris Cole and seconded by Steve Kelly and carried 6-0 with one absence.
The meeting adjourned at 8:16 p.m. on a motion by Steve Kelly, seconded by Kris Cole.
