Superintendent Jason Kennedy updated the board on the district's marketing plan for the bond measure, noting a FOCUS newsletter Bond edition and an updated bond proposal website to inform voters.
The board did not take a formal vote on the ballot language at the Aug. 18 meeting; board members discussed next steps and cross-county coordination. The superintendent framed the outreach as part of routine voter information ahead of the Nov. 4 election.
The board's next scheduled meeting is Sept. 15, 2025, where outstanding items related to the bond campaign (including any Ottawa County ballot language) could be brought forward for further action.
