Don Grice, Linden’s director of public works, acknowledged receiving residents’ images and said outstanding landscaping and other items are on a contractor punch list that the city expects the contractor to correct. Grice explained that separate water‑line work required shifting mains in some locations and that not every curb on the route was part of the original curb‑replacement scope, which affected which driveway approaches were replaced.
Dave Richmond of ROWE Professional Services, the project engineer, said the original plans called for curb replacement only on Lindenwood and that the engineer would revisit missed areas for options on driveway approaches and curb repairs. “The project is not done,” Richmond said.
Councilors urged residents to contact City Hall and council members with concerns and said staff would provide updates as the punch list is addressed. Mayor Elizabeth Armstrong asked staff to consider a follow‑up letter or notice to residents about satisfaction with right‑of‑way work and to offer a drop‑box at City Hall for comment cards.
