Town of Albany council approves December minutes and financials; routine motions pass unanimously

Councilman Don Onofry moved to approve the December 2024 minutes, seconded by Councilman Jerry Glascock; the vote was 5-0 in favor (Councilmembers Kim Stewart, Jerry Glascock, Gerald Stilley, Don Onofry and John Thomas). Councilwoman Kim Stewart moved to approve the December 2024 financials, seconded by Councilman John Thomas; that motion also passed unanimously.
Councilman Jerry Glascock moved and Councilman Don Onofry seconded a motion to suspend the rules, which passed 5-0. Following that, Councilman Glascock moved and Councilman Gerald Stilley seconded a motion to add Becky Blount to the agenda and allow her to speak regarding expansion of Beginning Prep Academy and a temporary building; that motion passed unanimously.
Councilman Gerald Stilley moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Jerry Glascock; the council voted 5-0 and the meeting ended at 7:36 p.m.
