The Deerfield Community Preservation Committee voted unanimously Feb. 18, 2026, to accept an amended Award Agreement Letter for Community Preservation Committee (CPC) funds and to recommend that Deerfield Town Meeting approve creation of a Conservation Fund to protect farmland and other town natural resources. Lili Dwight moved to accept the Award Agreement Letter as amended; Anne Buchanan seconded and the Committee voted unanimously. The Committee then agreed to vote on the Conservation Fund application and recommended that Town Meeting vote yes on creating a Conservation Fund. Lili Dwight moved to approve the Conservation Fund CPC application; Sean Libby seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
