The Interlaken Town Council unanimously appointed Lynn Chadderdon to fill a vacancy at its June 2 meeting and accepted her oath of office.
Lynn Chadderdon, who said she has lived in Interlaken since 2019 after 30 years in Park City, was the only candidate who submitted a letter of interest by the deadline. Council Member Sue O’Nan moved to appoint Chadderdon and Council Member Erin Merryweather seconded; the motion passed with all council members voting Aye. Chadderdon then verbally repeated the oath of office and signed the document.
Council members thanked Chadderdon for volunteering. The appointment followed the council’s review of submitted letters of interest and an interview; no other candidates were presented. The council did not take further action related to the vacancy at the meeting.
