MASB presents five-year strategic plan to East China School District; board to vote Oct. 27

Penny Kentish McWilliams of the Michigan Association of School Boards presented the East China School District's completed strategic-planning process and a proposed five-year plan at the Board's Sept. 22 meeting.
Kentish McWilliams congratulated the district for completing the strategic-planning process and outlined a five-year proposal. The Board was told the document will be brought forward for a formal vote at the Oct. 27, 2025 meeting.
Superintendent Cybulla also offered thanks to administration, operations, technology and staff for their work preparing for the school year during the same meeting. The Board did not take action on the strategic plan on Sept. 22; a vote is scheduled for Oct. 27.
