The Fairview Area Schools Board of Education used its April 14 meeting to set follow-up dates for policy review and evaluation tasks and to confirm roles for the upcoming graduation ceremony.
Board members conducted a first reading of revised policies from the Neola update 39-2 and scheduled a second reading and possible approval at the May board meeting. The board said it needs additional time to review the State's new requirements on superintendent evaluations and moved Superintendent evaluation Part One to the May 12, 2025 meeting.
The board announced standing committee dates: Negotiations on April 16 at 3:30 p.m.; Policy on April 22 at 5:30 p.m.; and Building/Maintenance on May 12 at 5:30 p.m. The board also noted that Ryan Blair and Gary Wnuk will present diplomas at the May 23, 2025 graduation ceremony.
The meeting record shows these items were handled as administrative scheduling and planning; no formal votes on policy changes occurred at this session.
