Tega Cay Board re-elects Amy Jo Denton as chair, selects Dirk Tanis Jr. as vice chair; minutes approved

At the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting on May 29, 2025, members voted unanimously to maintain Amy Jo Denton as chair and to elect Dirk Tanis Jr. as vice chair. Maureen Hurtik nominated Denton for chair; Dann Dunn seconded. Dann Dunn nominated Tanis for vice chair; Michael (Mike) Tullos seconded. Both motions passed 5-0.
The board then moved to approve the minutes dated June 15, 2023. Maureen Hurtik moved to approve the minutes, with Dirk Tanis Jr. seconding; the board approved the minutes 5-0.
These procedural items were recorded at the start of the meeting before the board reviewed a variance application later in the session. The meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
