Minuteman committee approves student travel, $650,000 certification, calendar revision and opts out of school choice

On school choice, the committee voted unanimously not to participate in the state's school choice program for the 2026–2027 entry year. Speakers noted that the school choice payment has remained $5,000 since 1993 and called the program's financial predictability a concern for a regional vocational district.
