Committee members cautioned the process of a town rejoining would be multi‑year and depends on individual sending‑town votes.
Committee members also noted a cohort of about 17 in‑district students currently undecided who hold accepted spots until the deadline; administrators said last year's final fall enrollments were lower than initial acceptances, underscoring the fluid nature of the numbers.
Next steps: the district will finalize acceptance lists after the April 1 Chapter 74 deadline, EMAC will continue its review and report back to the full committee, and staff will provide a fuller admissions report in April.
