At the Feb. 12, 2026 meeting, the Dennis Community Preservation Committee reviewed several grant agreements and voted to send each to the Select Board for execution.
Chris Foley reported that language about the distribution of funds that had been previously removed from the Affordable Housing Trust grant agreement was reinserted; the committee voted to forward that agreement to the Select Board. The committee also voted to forward the Cultural Center of Cape Cod grant agreement with the inclusion of “Yarmouth,” and to forward agreements for the Cape Cinema, YD Red Sox and the amended agreements for the Cape Cod Senior Softball League and Dennis Yarmouth Youth Baseball League.
Committee members discussed historic restrictions tied to funding. The minutes record that when the Cultural Center representative signs the agreement, they will acknowledge the requirement for a historic restriction and that KP Law will prepare the historic restriction language to cover multiple agreements.
Frank Dahlstrom moved to send the Affordable Housing Trust Grant Agreement to the Select Board for execution; Bill Clark seconded. The committee recorded roll-call approvals on multiple agreements and voted in favor on each motion as noted in the minutes (votes recorded as 8-0-0 where roll call was used). The agreements will proceed to the Select Board for execution and will be updated with the Town of Dennis address where necessary.
