Mayor Pro-Tem Justin Novak opened the Town of Sullivan's Island council meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Feb. 18 and announced the open house and presentation for the Historic Design Guidelines have been postponed to the council's April 15, 2025 regular meeting. The guidelines will be advertised and made available online for public review, the town said.
Town Administrator Joe Henderson told council that the next Stormwater Masterplan presentation is scheduled for the March 18, 2025 regular meeting. The scheduling places the masterplan discussion before the revised Historic Design Guidelines presentation, allowing public input on both items at upcoming meetings.
Councilmembers did not take a formal vote on either schedule during the Feb. 18 meeting; both items were presented as meeting calendar decisions. The town's public materials will show the dates for comment and review, and the Historic Design Guidelines will be accompanied by an open house before the April meeting.
