Mayor Hugh “Bubba” Hodge called the City of Darien work session to order at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 17, 2025. Present were Mayor Pro‑tem Griffin Lotson and Councilmembers William Collins, Russ Quarterman and Jeff Ragsdale; City Clerk Priscilla Taylor, City Manager Holden Osburn and City Attorney Sam Oliver were listed as staff present.
The council reviewed the agenda for the Nov. 17 regular council meeting; the minutes record that the agenda was discussed and that no formal action was taken during the work session. The discussion is recorded in the meeting minutes but the record does not list motions, votes or amendments resulting from that review.
Following the agenda review, Mayor Hodge ordered the council into an executive session to discuss legal matters at 5:37 p.m. The council reconvened from the executive session at 6:08 p.m., and Mayor Hodge adjourned the work session at 6:08 p.m.
