Shelby council approves plan to seek bids for 2024 trail expansion despite resident objection

The resolution authorizes staff to advertise for bids after approving detailed plans, specifications and estimated costs. The meeting minutes do not specify the estimated project cost or a construction schedule; those details will be determined as part of the bid process.
