Hillman approves Elmer's estimates for culvert and alleyway, schedules Brush Creek Mill furnace work

Trustee Jonathan Smith moved and Trustee Steve Orlandi supported acceptance of Elmer's $39,400 estimate for alleyway construction between Maple Street and Veterans Memorial Highway with a contingency of $5,600 for a not-to-exceed total of $45,000; the motion carried.
DPW Manager John Burr reported crews have removed eight loads of brush from the park and continue ice-storm clean-up. Manager Dave Post asked the council how quickly to replace the furnace at Brush Creek Mill; the council gave consensus to contact Standard Heating and place the mill on their work schedule. Trustee Orlandi noted water over the road on Second Street during the meeting.
