Richland Parish School Board recognizes students, teachers, staff and bus drivers

The Richland Parish School Board used part of its Jan. 14 meeting to recognize students, teachers, administrators, support staff and bus drivers across the district.
Honored individuals included Christian Killingsworth (Delhi High School), the board’s December Student of the Month, and Chrisela Carter (Delhi High School), the December Employee of the Month. The board also named district Students of the Year: Chloe White (Mangham Elementary School), Lydia Rogers (Mangham Junior High School) and Edyn Fisher (Mangham High School).
Awards for district educators and staff included Amanda Stein (Rayville Junior High) as Richland Parish Principal of the Year and Edward Parks (Delhi Middle School) as Assistant Principal of the Year; Raven Erwin was named New Teacher of the Year; Kelli White (Mangham High School) was named High School Teacher of the Year; Melissa Ceney (Start Junior High) was named Junior High Teacher of the Year; and Cindy Guillot (Mangham Elementary School) was named Elementary Teacher of the Year. Brandi Jones (Rayville Junior High) was recognized as Support Person of the Year.
The board also named school-level bus drivers of the year — Patricia Killian (Delhi), Oliver McFarland (Holly Ridge), Nan Carr (Mangham) and Kirby McCarty (Start) — and recognized Wes Tatum (Rayville Schools) as Richland Parish Bus Driver of the Year.
