The Marion County Board of Commissioners approved a multi-item consent agenda at its June 24 board session that bundled contracts and administrative orders across county departments.
The consent agenda included a contract with Tryfacta, Inc. to manage personnel administration for seasonal election workers (not to exceed $320,000 through June 30, 2029); amendments to incoming funds intergovernmental agreements with the Oregon Department of Human Services and the Oregon Health Authority to support housing placement and rural health transformation programs; and several Public Works items, including a $182,617 contract with Pacific Power to install three-phase electric service for the Mill City Wastewater Treatment Facility and an order to accept four roads into the Marion County Road System. The board also approved a temporary construction easement allowing the City of Salem to cross a reserve strip on Judy Avenue NE while McKay Park improvements proceed.
Treasurer’s Office items on the consent agenda included an order to distribute $2,509,014.42 in Oregon State Forestry timber revenues under ORS Chapter 530 and increases to change funds at three county disposal sites to align with a new operating system and cash-handling procedures.
Commissioner Danielle Bethell moved to approve the consent agenda; Commissioner Colm Willis seconded. The motion carried with Bethell and Willis voting aye; Commissioner Kevin Cameron was absent. The minutes record no separate discussion or roll-call objections to individual consent items.
