PSC clears routine dockets: enforcement action, tariff changes and cooperative transmission settlement

An ALJ recommended finding Move Precision guilty of violating a prior order for failing to timely pay required installments and for conducting an interstate move without first securing authority; the ALJ denied staff's request for higher fines and denied a refund request to the customer, ordering a $25 citation fee and reporting $735.65 to the state revenue department.
Staff also recommended and the commission accepted tariff modifications and filings that reflected supplier transitions, including a petition from Jefferson Davis Electric Cooperative to update its power-cost adjustment to reflect a new full-requirements power-supply agreement and a settlement approval for 1803 Electric Cooperatives to have certain facilities qualified as transmission and transfer functional control to the regional operator under conditions outlined in the stipulation.
Separately, the commission took steps to ratify votes taken on regional RTO and ISO filings and directed staff counsel to continue necessary interventions where immediate filings required the commission’s participation.
Commissioners said the routine items would not change ongoing policy debates but ensure customers and utilities have accurate tariffs and that contested enforcement and certification matters proceed through the record for legal adjudication.
