The staff presenter characterized the overall purchase as "more localized services" and a likely cost reduction versus the current contract.
The item was presented as a first read; the board did not adopt the contract at the Sept. 16 meeting but approved related action items elsewhere on the agenda. Administration will provide updates on timeline milestones and committee structure as the transition proceeds.
