Superintendent Leo agreed the language should be corrected.
The motion carried unanimously. Board members said the correction was an administrative fix to align the written contract with the board's intent; subsequent references to 3% increases for later years in the contract were left unchanged. The board instructed the president and secretary to execute the amended contract on the district's behalf.
The board took the vote as a formal action item during its regular meeting and did not attach additional salary changes or retroactive payments to this amendment.
