Keene Memorial Library Board approves 2025 annual report, adopts agenda and minutes

The Keene Memorial Library Board unanimously approved its 2025 annual report and adopted the meeting agenda and previous minutes during its Jan. 19, 2026 meeting at the Pinnacle Bank Board Room.
Board President Becky Pence called the meeting to order at 6:42 p.m. After roll call confirmed five members were present, Board Member LeAnn Rathke moved to adopt the Jan. 19 agenda; Ryan Fiala seconded. The motion carried 5-0.
At the start of business, Board Member Ryan Fiala moved to approve the Dec. 15, 2025 board minutes; Tina Barham seconded. That motion also passed unanimously, 5-0.
Board Member Tina Barham then moved to approve the Keene Memorial Library 2025 Annual Report for submission to the City Council; Ryan Fiala seconded. The board recorded a 5-0 vote in favor and the report will be forwarded to the City Council as approved.
Library Director Laura England-Biggs presented the Month in Review and statistics, and representatives of the Friends of the Library provided their regular report; no action was taken on those items. Finance reports for December 2025 were presented to the board; the board took no action on the finance reports at this meeting.
With no further business, LeAnn Rathke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ryan Fiala. The meeting adjourned at 7:26 p.m. The board noted its next regular meeting is scheduled for Feb. 16, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the library board room.
